Sign for the Amber Route, 1998

This sign was made for the exhibition entitled Sightseeing in Szombathely, a West-Hungarian city. The exhibition provided an opportunity for artists to reflect on the city and public spaces. A short, about fifty meter section of the ancient Roman amber route (which originally lead from the Adriatic Sea to the Baltic) was excavated between the Picture Gallery and the Roman sanctuary dedicated to Isis.
